Seeking 5 pilots to compete for one week for a grand total prize of 2 billion isk.
Your task:
1. Create a 1 man corporation.
2. Declare war on an alliance (a selected one will be provided to you).
3. Gain 10 SOLO kills within 1 week on 10 separate targets.
Rules:
- Alts are fine for scouting + setting up warp points.
- You may not be in a fleet during pvp.
- You may not have corp mates.
- You must fraps each fight from beginning to end.
- Ships must be of value (no rookie ships)
- No communication utilities (voip), no communication with non alts regarding the target.
- Kills must have joined the alliance prior to the name of the alliance being released.
Please post your name, age (ingame) and any other relevent information (why you should be selected) below.
The first pilot to reach 10 kills on separate targets will win the 2 billion isk. |

You can fleet alts. You cant fleet with other players.
Every competition has rules. Cant follow them dont sign up for the comp.

As for being podded by a hulk, it was a request for a quick jump back to Kehour, unfortunately still posted. However my Thorax was destroyed by the same hulk, malediction and orca earlier that day.

Edit: Looking at his kills, invariably half the damage is being down by npcs, they're not war targets either.

1. For simplicity and cost, pilots will be incorporated under one name - 1 corp.
2. Remote repping is definitely out as is any other form of active participation in the kill by anyone including your alts.
2.1 you can be fleeted with an alt and alts can provide gang bonuses.
3. You cannot kill your corpmates (negotiable by the 5 but wont count as a kill).
4. You cant die to a war target, concordiken while attacking a war target, or anything related to a war target. But you can die to anything else no problem during that week.
Any additional suggestions / requests will be considered.

We need one more person.
Once that occurs I will send each an email confirming and once that email is responded to I will transfer the cash to our middleman (hopefully Chribba or another well known trusted person) and have them post here their receipt.
I will create the corporation and declare the war and then invite each participant into it.
If nobody had obtained 10 kills in the time-frame given all monies will be forfeited back to myself.
If 10 kills are obtained and fraps or other recordings verify the rules were followed (middleman is the judge) then the funds will be transferred into the winners possession.

Nope it needs to be in 01 or higher which is why its through war deccing. 0.0 has tools that make catching war targets a little too easy and they're found in much higher concentrations then in empire.

Setting up the corporation as soon as server is up. Will be declaring war on the alliance immediately so that targets are available as soon as the competition starts.
Will be posting a finalized set of rules and conditions that wont be subject to change prior to or during the competition.
Any adjustments required by the pilots involved or any suggestions need to be made before the final rules are in place.
So in short.
(a) 1 week of combat starting after DT 2009.05.03.
(b) First person to get 10 verified fraps kills gets 2 billion isk.
(c) An additional prize of a navy mega with 3 x t2 trimarks is to be awarded to the person who gets the most kills in total (other then the winner of the 2 billion)
(d) Kills must be made solo and must be different persons and ships must be of value (t1 frig shuttle or destroyer you must get pod to qualify).
(e) alts are fine for scouting, probing etc and can be fleeted
(f) no discussion of targets with corp
(g) no communications utilities to be run (hard to police but if you get caught no kill)
(h) kills must have joined alliance prior to alliance name becoming known
(i) you must Fraps or similiar and keep a online journal, just brief description of how you got the kill for each kill along with vid.
(J)YOU CANNOT LOSE A FIGHT. If you do then your kills are reset to 0 and you must start again.

I chose them because they were fun to fight, difficult to kill, had a great duel boxing pilot that was rather skilled, are experienced with war and not too numerous. They're also pretty much high sec around the homebase. I have very good intel on them. So in short a good challange that'll make for good fights.

The sad thing about this thread and in fact this entire forum, is that its full of bitter hostile people and they are that way because of an internet space game which means absolutely NOTHING?
I will cancel this competition. I will restart it with another target. I will compensate the two people who joined up with half a billion isk each as an apology for your lack of sportsmanship.
Once again, I chose you people because I thought you would be a challenge, not because of any perceived grudge, since I actually found you to be likable and some of you to be skillful.
Its a shame you cant play the game without resorting to out of game hate and stupidity including trying to sabotage my RL relationship with my long term girlfriend with myspace posts.
As for my internet and in game persona, its simply an internet and in game persona, I dont know you, have never met you, Im okay at what I do, but obviously I cannot say with any certainty that I am better then anyone else. What I can say with certainty is that I am better at PLAYING EvE then a lot of the people posting in this thread and in this forum.

I will freely admit that I did do as you invited and contact you on myspace. I simply made a post in your comments section, which you had to approve by the way, that you might want to tell your girlfriend (who is very polite and nice to speak with), that you were inviting unknown women to visit you. Hey like I said to her / him / them yesterday, they were the only people that had me worried during the entire war.
Believe 10101010 and gray eyes got the only combat pod kill on me and all up killed me 3 times. I got her nonce ;)

I have a policy which I think most eve players follows. If its suicide to undock then I don't (usually ;) ) Do not bring 7 ships to kill 1 player if you want a fight.
You could feed them t1 kills but I have a backup for that in the form of the navy mega which is awarded for the most kills over 7 days. I don't care about the 2 billion to be honest, if I did I wouldn't have offered it along with a 1.5 billion isk ship.
Once again this competition is nothing to do with UCAM. I don't care about you guys on a personal level. I very much want to see the last 2 fights that is what I care about and I want to see if its possible for a player to do what I asked of them.
10 solo kills against you guys in 1 week without dying. Not such a hard ask.

Thats pretty unprofessional of you but as you wish. I'll simply hand out the isk myself.
He agreed to hold the isk for one week. He accepted a fee. He waited till the competition was underway and then reneged. He did this because of a silly but unfortunately very effective smack campaign by UCAM.
There has never been a grudge between myself and UCAM as least not on my side, despite their out of game idiocy and forum propaganda - I have always been polite and given them a gf even when they killed me 2-7 vs 1.
The hulk pod farce, the myspace crap, and the stealing my pic and posting it on kill boards is just childish and to be affected by it would be acting in a similar manner.
As I said previously, EVE is only a game that I play at work and its all in fun, I don't need to hate on people who I never met and who I choose to play a game with.

The interesting part about all of this is, so far the ones that actually fought are us and some of your contestants, I haven't seen you in any combat whatsoever.
Before you go reciprocate that on me, I too haven't fought (yet) because have no pretenses about my pvp skills, I have other things to take care of and other duties in the alliance.
I do however read logs and all I see is some good fights with some of your dec corp members (by some I mean the fights I have read about and seen reports about, nothing bad about the people that were in but have left etc.)
Also, The Count managed to kill 3 of us, now that reflects skill, unlike you, he doesn't talk about it beforehand, he fought and won, and posts results, all you do is talk and I haven't seen any actions in this war so you have extremely little to talk about. It looks to me as you have hired mercs while disguising it as a contest (and henceforth scamming the contestants into fighting a personal vendetta for you).
Even if you still claim to be legitimate, you should be able to gather some hints in how people react here, even your neutral party holding the ISK has resigned, don't you think you should start looking at why that happend before deflectively putting the blame on us ?

I do not have to fight. I am running this competition only.
Read up regarding the grudge. There is none. The war was originally going to be against sleepless knights alliance however due to an unfortunate afk event that war ended a few days before the competition started.
Additionally I received several taunting emails from UCAM members requesting I re-declare against them. Given that and the fact that they do have some skilled pilots I decided to have the competition against UCAM.
Any self respecting alliance would have welcomed the challenge however given the posts in this thread I do not believe UCAM has any respect for itself let alone anyone else.
As for Infinity Ziona's likability. Her aim in this game is not to make friends. Infinity is a loner, she is unpleasant, she is a ***** and that's the way she is played.

And let me restate THE OBVIOUS. I could have used an alt, hired any number of organized merc corps with 3.5 billion isk had there been some grudge.
Next competition will be a completely different alliance.

Day 1-7: Any PvP between contestants.

The 1/2 billion compensation was for cancelling the competition early however the competition continued so no compensation is due.

I enjoy the hunt as well as the kill. Choosing one person and then tracking them down, trying to figure out what they're up to and their likely next action.
I get a lot of pleasure from killing someone whos doing their best to not be killed by specifically me.
I did a bit of camping gates but was boring, but your roaming gang thing sounds like a lot of fun, if I wasnt so adverse to gang warfare I would give it a go.
